IFAAMAS 2008 influential paper award

The IFAAMAS 2008 influential paper award will be given to the following papers:

  • M. E. Bratman, D. J. Israel, and M E. Pollack. Plans and resource-bounded practical reasoning Computational Intelligence, 4(4):349 355, 1988
  • E. H. Durfee and V. R. Lesser Partial Global Planning: A Coordination Framework for Distributed Hypothesis Formation IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 21(5): 11671183, 1991

This award has been initiated to recognize papers that have had a significant impact on the field of agents and multi-agent systems. These awards will be made at AAMAS and the winners will be invited to attend to accept (the award comes with a cheque for 2000 USD which will be shared equally between the recipients).
