My name is Henrique Fonseca, and I am currently working with Professors Francisco Santos (IST, GAIPS), Jorge Pacheco (UMinho, ATP Group) and Ana Paiva (IST, GAIPS) as a PhD student and Research Assistant, within the TAILOR European Project.

My research regards the study of the origins and dynamics of cooperation in human societies through large-scale computational simulations based on Evolutionary Game Theory, with opinion-based interactions and social norms. I am currently investigating the impacts of different cognitive capabilities and social skills on cooperation and how to best regard strangers for cooperation to flourish.
