Lynne Hall is a Reader in the Department of Computing, Engineering and Technology. She is an experienced user experience practitioner and researcher with considerable involvement in EU and UK projects and over 90 peer-reviewed publications in computing, psychology and education journals and conferences.
She has considerable experience of external engagement, having been Project Manager for the Knowledge Transfer, Innovation and Enterprise strands of the Software City project; and Project Director of the Digital Media Network. Since 2009, she has directly interacted and collaborated with over 70 established SMEs and 35 start-ups (primarily in the software sector) through supporting business model development and evaluation, research opportunities, funding bid applications, innovation vouchers, consultancy, KTPs, etc. She has expertise in gaining EU, national and regional funding, and a track record in small and medium enterprise (SME) engagement and Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) generation.
