Interests
Miguel is a PhD student in Computer Science at the Technical University of Lisbon and a researcher at GAIPS, INESC-ID. His lifelong goal is to merge the topics of AI and Human Cognition in order build machines that are able to attain high-level knowledge in a sample-efficient way. In his PhD, besides writing descriptions of himself in third-person, Miguel explores Multimodal Representation Learning in Robots and Artificial agents, using Deep Generative Models.
