
Joana Brito
Joana Brito received the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST-UL). She is currently a Research Member with the Group for Artificial Intelligence for People and Society (GAIPS) Research Group, Institute for Systems and Computers Engineering (INESC-ID). At INESC-ID, she is involved in the study of digital education tools, including social robots and serious games, to create tailored learning experiences for children, with a specific emphasis on those with neurodevelopment disorders. Her main research interests include affective computing, artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction and serious games.
