João Tomás is a PhD student at the Group of AI for People and Society (GAIPS) at INESC-ID. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Computer Science and Information Technology Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. His research interests include reinforcement learning, deep learning, and more recently methods for nonlinear dimensionality reduction.
