Ali, a PostDoc researcher at GAIPS, INESC-ID in Lisbon, Portugal, works with the Center for Responsible AI (CRAI) within the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) project. Holding a Ph.D. in Robotics from Instituto Superior Técnico, his research spans AI, robotics, and human-robot interaction. Ali’s expertise lies in learning motor skills through demonstration and exploration, integrating concepts from active and reinforcement learning. His passion extends to applying machine learning and deep learning to enhance robots’ behavior, cooperation, and their ability to collaborate on intricate tasks with other agents.
