CoLDEx aimed at developing and using new IT approaches and computational tools to foster scientific experimentation, modeling, and simulation in distributed collaborative settings in an inter-cultural (European-Latin American) community of learners. It resulted in the creation of innovative pedagogical scenarios and tools for learning in experimentation domains including astronomical and seismic activities, ecological and environmental issues, and the life cycle of plants and greenhouse experimentation.
