Pedro Pesca is a PhD student at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and a researcher at the Group of AI for People and Society (GAIPS), INESC-ID. He holds a BSc in Product Design and Technology and an MSc in Digital Product and Technology from the University of Aveiro (UA), having specialized in Extended Reality technologies in the industry. His research is focused on Human-Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence, particularly on Human-AI collaboration in the industry, in scenarios where AI Agents are seen as teammates instead of tools.
