Regina Duarte is a PhD student at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) and is affiliated with the GAIPS lab at INESC-ID. She holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics from faculty of sciences of Lisbon University and a Master’s degree in data science and engieneering from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Her research is centered around Human-AI Interaction, a multidisciplinary field bridging Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, and Psychology. She focus primarily on the Human-AI decision-making processes, where humans, aided by AI recommender and decision support systems, collaborate to make informed decisions for specific tasks.
